Alabama Association of Municipal Revenue Officers is a taxpayer-funded lobbying association dedicated to promoting the agenda of Alabama's municipal revenue officers.

Food Stamp Sales Tax: The group supports Alabama Senate Bill 450 which proposes to exempt local sales taxes on food that is defined for food stamp purposes in the Federal Food Stamp Act, 7 U.S.C § 2011.[citation needed]

Income tax deductions and elimination of state sales tax on food: The association support Alabama House Bill 274 which eliminates the state income tax deduction for federal income taxes for individual taxpayers. The bill also increases income tax, personal, and dependent deductions, and eliminates the state sales tax on food.[citation needed]

Exempting ambulance service providers from licensing fees: The Alabama Association of Municipal Revenue Officers is dedicated to the passage of Alabama House Bill 874 which will allow Ambulance service providers to be exempt from all local business licensing fees.[citation needed]

Prohibiting business privilege license on particular real estate companies: The association is committed to the passage of Alabama House Bill 185. House Bill 185 will only allow a municipality to levy a business privilege tax or require the licensing of a real estate company if and only if the company's place of business is located within the said municipality.[citation needed]
