- Names and contact information for administrative county officials,[4] as well as Board of Supervisors contact information and bios[5] are available.
- Board meeting dates, agendas, minutes and reports are posted. Podcasts of the meetings are also available.[6]
- The website offers various eGovernment services, including the ability to pay county taxes online.[7]
- Information about accessing public records is posted.[8]

- Terms of office for county officials are not posted online.
- Current requests for bids and proposals from outside vendors are posted, as well as instructions for bidders, but there is no information about awarded contracts.
- There appears to be no information about whether the county has any associations with lobbyists. However, the Virginia Association of Counties lists the county as a member.[9]
- Information about FOIA requests is not easily accessible and there appears to be no record of FOIA compliance.
