Allegheny County is one of 67 counties in Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the population was 1,281,666. The county seat is Pittsburgh.

The Allegheny County Airport Authority[10] received funding for lobbying activities for all the years between 2000 and 2009, for a total of $554,000. The Allegheny County Housing Authority received lobbying funds from 2001 to 2008 and spent more on lobbying since 2000 than any other Allegheny subsidiary, totaling $620,000.
