Alma is a city in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. The population was 797 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Wabaunsee County.

The City of Alma has a very informative website. Though revenue and tax data are not available, bi-weekly claims reports and the minutes of all council meetings are posted and well organized. The website encourages the public to attend council meetings, listing the date, time and location of each meeting. The website also lists the names of all major officials, but it does not have individual contact information for them.
