Amanda Grosserode led an anti-stimulus demonstration against Democrat Rep. Dennis Moore in Overland Park, Kansas on Saturday, February 21, 2009. 750 people attended the protest.[1]

Grosserode is a home-schooling mom who says she is "fed up" with the spending in Washington. "My husband and I were feeling frustrated that the stimulus had passed with very little debate and no one had read it. I said, 'We need to do something'". [2]

Grosserode contacted family and friends to organize the event and was assisted by mentions of the event on Michelle Malkin's blog, as well as mentions on local talk radio.
