Androscoggin County is one of sixteen counties in Maine.

As of 2000, the county's population was 103,793.

As of January 2009, Androscoggin is one of three Maine counties that do not have a website. The other two are Franklin County, Maine and Penobscot County, Maine. The state government provides a page on its website with some very basic information about each of the counties that do not have their own website, including the names (but no contact information) for ten county officials.
