Bad Axe Public Schools is a school district in Huron County, Michigan. According to a report from the Michigan Department of Education, it served 1,252 students for the 2006-07 school year and was the 347th largest public school district in Michigan.[1] The Mackinac Center for Public Policy has contacted Bad Axe to post its checkbook register and the district is considering the idea.
