"Belinda Biafore, chair of the Marion County Democratic Executive Committee, attended Wednesday's county commission to express her displeasure about having a Freedom of Information Act request denied.

Biafore also pointed out that she had received a verbal denial at last week's commission meeting, when she had submitted the FOIA request. She received a letter from Charles Shields, assistant prosecuting attorney who represents the commission, denying all but one of her requests."
