== Basic Facts ==The Buena Vista School District is a school district in Saginaw County, Michigan. According to a report from the Michigan Department of Education, it served 1,088 students for the 2006-07 school year and was the 379th largest public school district in Michigan.[1] The Mackinac Center for Public Policy has contacted Buena Vista to post its checkbook register but so far it does not appear to be online.

An effort to recall four Buena Vista School board members was initiated in January 2010. Targeted board members include: Vice President Alvin Jernigan Jr., Treasurer Patricia Butler, and trustees Rosie Jackson and Leonard N. Williams. Intent to recall petitions were filed by Vannessa Curry with Saginaw County officials.[1]
