Categories:Starter class
From Sunshine Review
The starter class designation is an important way of categorizing articles that are part of the My Government Website project.
It's important to categorize any articles in this project because there's a large amount of data to be collected. If an article you write doesn't get correctly categorized, it might get lost in the shuffle, which means your work won't count.
The starter class designation on an article means that page that has been started, but does not have any transparency evaluation information yet.
[edit] How to I add a "starter class" tag?
In order to designate an article as belonging to the starter class category, simply:
- At the bottom of the article, when you're in edit mode, type:
- [[Category:Starter class STATE counties]]
- Which looks like this: Category:Starter class STATE counties.
or
- [[Category:Starter class STATE cities]]
- Which looks like this: Category:Starter class STATE cities.
or
- [[Category:Starter class STATE school districts]]
- Which looks like this: Category:Starter class STATE school districts.
Examples for specific states are:
- [[Category:Starter class Wisconsin counties]]
- [[Category:Starter class Rhode Island cities]]
- [[Category:Starter class Texas cities]]

[edit] Summarize your accomplishments!
Once you've created and categorized some articles, note the progress that has been made on the county website project, city website project or school district website project pages. This allows overall tracking.
