Guy v. Judicial Nominating Commission 1995
Lee v. Minner 2005 This case prohibited the denial of FOIA requests based on state citizenship, and instead required the state to open up documents to all citizens of the United States.
New Castle County Vocational-Technical Education Association v. Board of Education 1978 Established the difference between the school district, as a public body, and divisions within the school district, namely the national honor society, that are part of national groups and thus not subject to open records requests.
News-Journal Co. v. Billingsley 1980
