"Taxpayers have every right, legally and morally, to know how the New London Board of Education is proposing to spend their money.

That said, the current disagreement between the City Council and school board over access to details of the proposed $41 million 2009-10 education spending plan appears to be more about poor communication than freedom of information policies."
