Delaware Senate Bill 187/HB 336 (2008)
From Sunshine Review
Senate Bill 187 was introduced by Sen. Charles Copeland (R-West Farms) in December 2007. Concurrently, House Bill 336, identical to SB 187, was introduced by Rep. Greg Lavelle (R-Sharpley).
The bill requires each state agency to make its checking account activity (with the exception of payroll checks) available in real time on their website.
Each check would be linked to an online version of the initiating purchase order or contract, and would be required to stay online for a minimum of five years.
The bill also requires each state agency to post pay and benefits online by job title.
