The Democratic Party is one of two major political parties in the United States, the other being the Republican Party. It is the oldest political party in the United States.

Each state has a local headquarters of the Democratic National Committee.[1]

All current members of the Congressional Black Caucus are members of the Democratic Party. All members, except Gregorio Sablan (I-MP-Delegate) and Joseph Cao (R-LA) , of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus are members of the Democratic Party.
