Desert Sun v. Palm Springs Desert Resorts Convention and Visitors Authority was a court case that never happened due to a change of heart by the Palm Springs Desert Resorts Convention and Visitors Authority. The Desert Sun submitted a number of records requests for documents relating to the resignation of the Palm Springs Desert Resorts Convention and Visitors Authority former president. At first the agency denied the request, but after the Desert Sun filed suit in superior court, the agency changed its mind and released the records. [1]
