[edit] Website evaluation

[edit] The good

  • Site has a search function and is fairly easy to navigate.
  • Budget is published.[1]
  • Tax information is provided.[2]
  • State ethics commission information posted.[3]
  • Financial audit reports are published.[4]
  • Statewide contracts are available.[5]
  • Elected officials are listed with contact information under their respective office.[6]
  • Administrative officials are listed with contact information under respective agency.[7]

[edit] The bad

  • Most agencies appear to have information on requesting public records[8], but there does not seem to be comprehensive information about open record requests under the Oklahoma Open Records Act.
  • Lobbyist disclosure and reporting is posted[9], but there isn't any information on state-paid lobbying and agency lobbying contracts.
