"Teachers in the Everett School District have filed a complaint in Snohomish County Superior Court alleging that the district isn't complying with the state Public Records Act.

Kim Mead, president of the Everett Education Association, said the teachers union had tried to get the district to voluntarily disclose documents dating back to 2001. She said hundreds of records were denied and that others were "extensively redacted.""
