[edit] FOIA requests are not scarlet letters

"There is no place in open government for municipal murk.

When township supervisor Frank E. Hamilton made the Nov. 25, 2008, decision—without board approval—to request a hearing on a settlement issue be postponed; when he told a judge one reason for postponement was to hire different counsel 10 days before the board met to discuss and make that decision, he was not engaging in open government.

Worse yet is the betrayal of trust by at least two board members and their new Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) Coordinator Sadie Bartosik—who resigned from the same position in years past for failing to do her job correctly."
