Flint City School District is a school district in Genesee County, Michigan. According to a report from the Michigan Department of Education, it served 16,904 students for the 2006-07 school year and was the 7th largest public school district in Michigan.[1] The Mackinac Center for Public Policy has contacted Flint City to post its checkbook register but so far it does not appear to be online.

According to a study of the 22 school district in Genesee County conducted by the Flint Journal, the Flint City school district spent $42,157.72 on travel for school board members and superintendents during the 2 1/2 years beginning July 1, 2006. The survey was performed using spending records received via the Michigan Freedom of Information Act. [1]
