Florida Association of District School Superintendents

The Florida Association of District School Superintendents is a taxpayer-funded lobbying association representing the interests of superintendents across Florida. Based in Tallhassee, Florida, the association employs four lobbyists to represent their interests in state policies.[1][edit] Mission
The organization seeks to promote executive leadership development, influence education legislation and policies throughout the state of Florida, and provide Florida's superintendents professional assistance and expertise

Dr. Margaret A. Smith, who is the superintendent of Volusia County, Florida, is the current President of the organization. Bill Montford serves as the group's CEO. Mr. Montford served as Leon County School District Superintendent from 1996 to 2006; a middle school was later named in his honor.[2]

Osceola County School District, Florida is a member of the Florida Association of School Administrators.
