29 August 2008 In an act of local government transparency, the city of Forney, Texas is actively seeking public feedback on the proposed budget for fiscal year 2008-2009.
Forney City Manager Brian Brooks presented the approximately 500 page document to the city council a week ago. Since then, the budget has been put up on the city's website, and two public meetings have been scheduled to hear from the public.[1]
Budget Approval Process
