According to records received through Texas Education Agency, Fort Bend ISD Superintendent Timothy Ray Jenney earned a base pay of $260,339 in 2010/11.[14]

Budget

The Fort Bend school system offered its employees cash to resign as the district tried to forestall layoffs due to a big budget shortfall. [15]

The school district has appealed a case, which was filed by Fort Bend Now, hope to stop the release of any records involving an embezzlement investigation at Marshall High School.[16]

The school board has also been slow to respond to requests, like one that requested to see a report that was being presented at a school board meeting at the same time it was issued to school board members.[17]
