The Greater Johnstown School District (GJSD) is a school district in New York. There is one high school, one middle school, and two elementary schools in the district that served 2,000 students in 2007-08.

According to information obtained by The Leader Herald via the New York Freedom of Information Law, GJSD spent $589,000 on total salaries for superintendents, principals and treasurers/business managers in 2007/08. This amounts to $294.45 of administrative salary paid per student, the least of the area districts examined. Northville Central School spent the most of area districts at $681.90 per student. [1]
