Illinois lobbying guidelines
The Index Department of the Secretary of State houses lobbying information and records for Illinois. The Pacific Research Institute ranks the state 6 out of 50 as far as overall lobbying disclosure requirements.[1]
Who must register?
Any person who undertakes to influence executive, legislative or administrative action, as well as any person who employs another person for the purposes of influencing executive, legislative or administrative action.[2]
