Sunshine Review is happy to cooperate with other non-profit organizations whose mission is to make government transparent and accountable to the people. But since this is a collaborative project, our approach to cooperation is that it should not be exclusive and should not impede cooperation with other citizens or organizations in a given area or subject.

Like any other wiki project, Sunshine Review is governed by a sweat ethic and this ethic is reflected in the following levels of cooperation.

Level 1: Sunshine Contributor

Organizations are invited, along with regular citizens, to contribute to Sunshine Review. If your organization produces original research, you are welcome to post it here. Where appropriate, you may also link Sunshine Review pages to relevant information your website(s). However, if these links are regarded by other contributors and/or editors as SPAM, they will be removed and you will be warned, or in the case of severe abuse, immediately banned from contributing.

Level 2: Sunshine Partner

If your organization makes significant and substantial contributions to Sunshine Review, you may become a Sunshine Partner. Sunshine Partnering entitles you to free, advanced wiki training (via webinar) for your staff and a customized badge you can add to any page to which your organization contributes.

While there is no guarantee your badge will be left in place indefinitely you are free to replace the badge in the event that another contributor removes it.

Level 3: Sunshine Master

In some cases, if an organization can bring substantial funding and dedicated resources to the table, Sunshine Review will agree to create a "portal" for that organization. A portal will enable the following:

  • Branding of all content within a portal using a unique "theme" or banner graphic that identifies the portal with the organization.
  • URL redirection allowing for www.yourdomain.org to forward directly to www.sunshinereview.org/yourportal
  • Important!!! Portals cannot be created for states or general categories. For instance, we cannot designate the location www.sunshinereview.org/Washington to a particular organization. However, we can designate the location www.sunshinereview.org/WashingtonThinkTank.

Any questions about institutional cooperation should be directed to Kristin McMurray, Sunshine Review Project Manager and Editor for Sam Adams Alliance, at info(at)sunshinereview.org.
