[edit] Train to nowhere
The "Train to nowhere" is a radio show highlighting corruption in the Iowa legislature. This past legislative session, the Democrats in the state legislature, led by Speaker Pat Murphy, appropriated $300,000 to the City of Dubuque for an Amtrak depot. However, in Iowa the Amtrak doesn't service Dubuque.[1] Iowa Progress Project has also released model transparency legislation for consideration during the next legislative session.
