James O'Keefe, III is a journalist most recently noted for going undercover to expose several Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now offices' practices.[1]

O'Keefe dressed up, posed as a pimp and went with Hannah Giles and a hidden camera to several regional ACORN offices, two of which were ACORN headquarters (New York, New York and Baltimore, Maryland). O'Keefe and Giles posted the footage on BigGovernment.com.

The videos revealed ACORN employees "helping" the journalists with tax evasion and other paperwork in order to run, what turned out to be, a fictitious child prostitution business.[1]

He appeared in many articles and on television shows following the videos' release. Since the videos' releases, he and Giles are facing charges for recording the ACORN employees without their consent.

O'Keefe is an investigative journalist and filmmaker, having produced projects like "Bailout Prize Patrol" for Right.Org in 2009. He directed, scripted, produced and acted in a series of undercover videos highlighting racism and statutory rape at Planned Parenthood in 2007 and 2008.

Earlier he was Publications Coordinator at the Leadership Institute, where he helped initiate 22 independent newspapers and magazines on college campuses across the nation. He gave lectures on campus strategy and fundraising, praising Saul Alinsky philosophy.

His recent project is Veritas Visuals, a collection of satirical short films on newsworthy topics. Some of the intentionally ridiculous content on the site have included straight men with girlfriends getting married to each other in Massachusetts and petitions to adopt Gitmo detainees into American homes.

James start producing revealing videos banning "H20" and "Lucky Charms" at his alma mater, Rutgers University. At Rutgers, O'Keefe founded The Centurion in 2004.
