Salary schedules for 2010-11 are posted and range from $32,220 for certain first year teachers to $69,467 for certain teachers with 23 years experience.[10]

School budget

2010-11

The approved 2010-11 budget is $59,950,116, which is a $2,230,306 (or 3.6%) decrease from the prior year.[11]

Spending transparency

On April 1, 2009, the South Carolina Legislature passed H3352 which requires school districts in the state to post a check register and credit card statement online.[12] All school districts are required to post monthly statements beginning June 30, 2010.

As of December 23, 2010 the district complies with the law.[13]
