"Kimball Township Supervisor Rob Usakowski has filed Freedom of Information Act requests with the township clerk after she failed to respond to other requests for township information.

Usakowski, who was elected in November, said he wants detailed, line-item financial statements, a list of township ordinances, and a video recording of the township’s Dec. 16 board meeting.

He made formal requests for the information Dec. 18, he said, using request forms Shaffer gave to the township board of trustees. When he had received no response by Dec. 30, he filed the Freedom of Information Act requests."
