Lobbying

The district is a member of the Wyoming School Boards Association (WSBA).[15] The AASB states on its website that it employs lobbyists "to be at the Capitol every day the legislature is in session to work with the legislators to let them know WSBA’s position on educational issues."[16] The WSBA provides daily updates on legislative action via email to all administrators and school board members.[16] The WSBA also hosts a Legislative Forum for members, which includes discussions of legislative priorities among members as well as a reception for for legislators, school board members and administrators.[17]
