"GALLUP — Tuesday night’s City Council meeting went into closed session immediately after it began to discuss “threatened” litigation against the city pursuant to the Open Meetings Act.

When asked who was threatening the city and for more information why the issue qualified for a closed meeting status, City Attorney Dave Pederson said, “I wrote the statute. Read it.”"
