Executive Order #BJ 2008-2 was the second Executive order passed by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal as part of his comprehensive ethics reform plan, which he campaigned on heavily during his run for office. Executive Order #BJ 2008-2 contains 5 Sections.

To check compliance with Louisiana Government Performance and Accountability Act each cabinet member of the executive branch must survey his or her department and report the findings to the commissioner of administration.

The commissioner of administration will report the findings of these surveys to the Governor and submit suggestions on how to fix any areas of non-compliance. This must be submitted to the Governor by April 15th 2008.

To ensure accountability and transparency in state government the following will be done:
- Publish online reports of state contracts and grants
- Improve accessibility for citizens to contract and grant databases
- Make Louisinana's Regulatory Process more transparent
- Have all agencies use the same programs for disclosures
- Publish a state spending database online
- Focus the Louisiana Government website on Transparency

The Commissioner of Administration is responsible for overseeing these goals.

This Order shall remain in effect until amended, modified, terminated, or rescinded by the governor, or terminated by operation of law. [1]
