Mark Bradford

Mark Bradford is a member of the Lawrence school board, elected in 2009. He is currently the Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical chief.
Bradford said his 32 years in municipal government give him the experience necessary to serve on the school board. He expressed his concern over the budget crisis, “This community has provided a lot of community goals and we need to make sure we look at funding in relation to those goals. I think that the important piece (is that) we can’t forget how to manage our money.”[1]
