[edit] Mayor defends Dunbar FOIA-fee resolution

"Dunbar Mayor Jack Yeager on Tuesday stood behind an earlier resolution to charge citizens for the cost of the city's response to Freedom of Information Act requests because, he said, the charge is not overly burdensome.

Although the matter was not addressed during Tuesday's City Council meeting, Yeager said the new policy is justified by the city's circumstances.

"The city clerk has been sick for some time and the requests were very time consuming for employees," Yeager said. "We are trying to keep our heads above water.""
