Mike Millikin is the superintendent of Columbia County Schools, Florida.

Millikin is a graduate of Columbia High School as well as of Lake City Community College. He earned degrees from both the University of Florida and the University of North Florida.

Millikin has spent 28 years in education, serving as a classroom teacher, an adult educator, a high school assistant principal, the Director of Vocational and Adult Education, and the Assistant Superintendent of Columbia County Schools. As the Assistant Superintendent, he was responsible for supervising the budget, facilities, transportation, food service, and class size reduction.

Millikin has involved himself in the community through organizations like the United Way, for which he is a Board Member. He has also served as a Committee Member of Boy Scouts of America. Millikin has been involved with the Rotary Club of Lake City, First Presbyterian Church, Habitat for Humanity and Chamber of Commerce, or Industrial Development Authority.[1]
