Mississippi Forward is the Mississippiaffilliate of the National Taxpayers Union. It is a non-profit, non-partisan, 501c4 taxpayer advocacy organization whose main purpose is to campaign for lower taxes in Mississippi.

Mississippi Forward's taxpayer advocacy is only one aspect of their mission. Philosophically, Mississippi Forward's mission is rooted in Keynesian economics. Their advocacy programs also include goals of reducing regulation on business practices, reduction on government spending, tort reform, school choice, and private property rights. They also advocate for energy reform, focusing on lowering the cost of energy by deregulation and increasing access to energy in the Gulf of Mexico.
