[edit] Muskegon County judge blocks release of data about Whitehall teacher charged with sex crime
"A Muskegon County Circuit judge Monday blocked the release of documents detailing tenure charges against a Whitehall teacher accused of a sex crime with a student.
The Muskegon Chronicle had sought the documents, and information about the Whitehall school district's internal investigation of Jared Bays, via a Freedom of Information request.
His opinion said that while "public interest is significant" it is "outweighed" by the judge's concern that Bays would "suffer more harm" if the information was released."
