[edit] Corruption in Muskogee

Jackie L Borovetz, a former bookkeeper for the County Court Clerk's office, was charged with embezzlement in September 2008, after more than $340,000 was discovered missing. An audit was triggered when a bank had questions about a check written from an office account. Court administrators believe the funds were embezzled between November 2007 and September 2008.[2]
