New Jersey Transparency
From Sunshine Review
June 2008
In June 2008 it was discovered that Long Branch city councilman Brian Unger had an inappropriate email exchange with Mayor Adam Schneider regarding a female city employee's salary. Though Unger is usually a proponent of transparency he tried to cover up his exchange which was discovered by the local media.
Also in New Jersey in June 2008 there was an attorney General investigation into six employees who used state funds for private gas usage.
