Norm Jennings is a member of the Salina city commission. He was elected in 2009.
A major issue in the race has surrounded a near-total public smoking ban, approved by the Salina city commissioners in January.
Jennings supports putting the issue up for a public vote, but said he would never have voted for it in the first place. "I would have voted for business owners' rights. But I did not have all the data that was in front of commissioners," he said.[1]
