According to information obtained by The Leader Herald via the New York Freedom of Information Law, OECSD spent $255,000 on total salaries for superintendents, principals and treasurers/business managers in 2007/08. This amounts to $654.28 of administrative salary paid per student, which is near the high end of the field for dollars paid per student in area school districts. The Greater Johnstown School District paid the least at $294.45 per student, and Northville Central School spent the most of area districts at $681.90 per student. [1]
