Shari Weber

Shari Weber has served as the Executive Director for the Kansas office of American Majority since January 2009.
American Majority is the premier candidate and activist training institute in Kansas. A non-partisan and non-profit educational organization, American Majority trains candidates and activists to be effective in their communities, while encouraging them to promote individual liberty and freedom in the marketplace. Dennis Wilson is the President of the Board of American Majority in Kansas and the national President is Ned Ryun.
Prior to joining American Majority, Shari served as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives for the 68th District for 10 years, including serving as Majority Leader during the 2001 and 2002 legislative sessions.
She also served as the President and CEO for Community Bankers Association of Kansas, a state-wide organization which represents locally owned and operated banks. She gained additional experience and connections working with the Herington Main Street Program, a downtown development initiative on behalf of the National Trust for Historic Preservation by the Kansas Department of Commerce. She received her education at St. John's College and Academy in Winfield, Kansas and Moorhead State University in Minnesota.
Shari and her husband, Marvin, live near Vassar and together they have three children.
