Brian "Slim" Nash serves on the City Commission in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was first elected to the commission in 2004 but has been a career politician.

Slim has been involved in the the ongoing process of developing the Bowling Green TIF District which will cost taxpayers $200 million over 30 year bonds.

He has worked with LifeSkills, Inc., Warren County Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Council, Warren County Family Court One, and Warren County Juvenile Drug Court. Slim received his bachelors of arts from Western Kentucky University in 1993 studying the discipline of sociology and criminology.

Slim has instituted several programs directed at the youth of Warren County. He's institute a court supervision program for youth substance abuse, authorized the building of a skate park and institute the Common Sense is not always Common Action program. Common Sense is not always Common Action program provides parents and school personnel positive management techniques, such as appropriate expectations, fixed limits, redirection and natural and logical consequences.
