[edit] Indiana Transparency Portal

The Indiana State Auditor has launched an Indiana Transparency Portal (ITP), containing budget and financial information for local governments. The interactive report-builder page offers a range of information. Users can find financial data for a county, municipality or other unit of government.[14]

[edit] Accuracy

The budget information from the ITP doesn't match that provided on the South Bend website. The ITP says South Bend's 2012 expenditures are $263,126,926 and its revenues are $284,803,860,[14] but the South Bend website's budget says expenditures are $227,501,810 and revenues are $262,082,845.[13]
