Every year, Nebraska Taxpayers for Freedom authors an issue paper on local government subdivision paid lobbyists. Many of these local governments pay from tax dollars large salaries to lobbyists, who work against taxpayer interests at our state legislature, etc. to direct additional funding to governmental subdivisions they represent. The following local taxing authorities in Douglas and Sarpy Counties refused to comply with the open records statutes of the State of Nebraska and respond to our two requests for lobbyist information:

  • City of Bennington
  • Bennington Public Schools
  • Douglas County West Schools
  • Ralston Public Schools
  • City of Bellevue
  • Gretna Public Schools
  • Sarpy County
  • South Sarpy County School District.
