Tea Party U.S.A.
From Sunshine Review
Tea Party U.S.A. is how Michelle Malkin refers to the national movement that was sparked on February 16, 2009 when Rick Santelli in an on-air segment on CNBC Business Newslive called for a Chicago Tea Party. Santelli's remarks became known as the "Rant Heard 'Round the World".[1],[2]
William A. Jacobson, a law professor at Cornell Law School, refers to the movement as "The Revolt of the Kulaks", comparing it to other movements "where the producers of society refuse to have their property and income confiscated."[3]
