Tensas Parish, Louisiana is one of sixty-four parishes in Louisiana. A parish, in Louisiana, is the equivalent of a county in other states. The seat of the parish is St. Joseph. In 2000, the population of the parish was 6,618. It is the least-populous parish of Louisiana.
