Terry Carney

Terry Carney is a member of the Auburn-Washburn school board. Representing District B, Position 5, he was elected in 2009.

He is an optometrist with two children, one a senior at Washburn Rural High School and the other an eighth grader at Washburn Rural Middle School. He said, "I just thought I would like to get involved in a basic way."^[1]

In the April 7, 2009 election Carney received 2,849 votes (74%), winning with a margin of 1,870.
