Todd Biggs
From Sunshine Review
Todd Biggs is a member of the Pittsburg school board, elected in 2009. The owner of a landscape company, he has been active in the community, including volunteering for the school district as well as the local youth baseball league.[1]
Originally filing for a four-year term, Biggs decided to change and file for a two-year term so that no candidate would run unopposed. Before the change, Howard Smith was the only one to file for the position.
Biggs said, “It seemed calculated on his part, so I decided to change my designation from the four-year to the two-year and take him head on.”[2]
[edit] Election results
In the April 7, 2009 general election Biggs received 1073 votes (55%), defeating Smith by 211 votes.
