Thanks for visiting. I'm the president of the Lucy Burns Institute, a small non-profit based in Madison, Wisconsin that focuses on trying to make it easier to access public records at the state and local level. This is a volunteer position.

From July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009, I worked part-time as a consultant to the Sam Adams Alliance as it developed Ballotpedia, Judgepedia and Sunshine Review. On July 1, the Lucy Burns Institute was happy to take over the continued stewardship of Ballotpedia and Judgepedia after the healthy starts they got under the Sam Adams roof.
My husband, Eric O'Keefe, is the president of the board of the Sam Adams Alliance.
